On August 2nd I woke up with one word "Intentional." As I started my morning in prayer the word would not leave me. Since, then I have heard that word spoken about five times as a word from the Lord. God is speaking and I truly believe that this is a very critical season for many of us and it is different for each of us. I want you to know there has been a shift in the atmosphere and it does not matter if you see it or feel it, the shift has taken place. It is for this very reason you must be intentional in the journey. Intentional to pray even when you do not feel like it, intentional to forgive even when you feel like you are the one who always relents; having to say those three words ( I am sorry), you have to be intentional to press through even though you are exhausted and feel as if you have no more wind in your spirit to go another day, you have to be intentional to believe in spite of all the obstacles before you clouding your hope, you have to be intentional to trust when everything you have tried before has failed you, you have to be intentional to be still when you do not know which way to go and your soul is anxious to make a move, you have to be intentional to love in spite of how you are being treated, you have to be intentional to let go and let God. Being intentional in this season means you are going to make a deliberate effort to press forward in spite of what's in front you, in spite of how you feel, in spite of what you see, in spite of what you hear. Be intentional in your words, be intentional in your decisions, be intentional in who you allow in your life right now, and be intentional in examining who is currently in your life. It's not always easy, but I promise you that your steadfast press will be well worth it in the end. Philippians 3:13-14 "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have attained this. Instead I am single-minded: Forgetting the things thatre behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
