All Things are Possible !
Hello my friends,
I know it's been a while, but I could not wait to post this blog. I wanted to send you a quick, but awesome encouragement from myself and Mrs. Ginger ( you will learn who she is as you read).
On Friday, I had to travel to Roseville, Ca to meet a friend who was going to teach me how to do Digital Art, so that I can know how to put my writings on beautiful photos myself. It is a part of my dream because I want to one day open up my own greeting card store, but it will be more than a store it will be an atmosphere in which every person who walks through the doors of "Encouraging Touch" will be encouraged and blessed. They will step into an environment that literally speaks ~ all things are possible to those who dare to believe. I was so excited to get started, but before starting we decided to go grab coffee. Neither one of us really knew the area, but my friend's GPS led us to a near by Starbucks. When we got out of the car I told my friend lets grab lunch while we were out because I was getting a little hungry. As we parked I looked up and there was a restaurant that immediately caught my eye with it's vibrant summer colors and welcoming Hawaiian Logo Sign that drew us like bugs to a light. We walked in and were greeted with the biggest smile that would make you smile no matter what type of day you were having, a smile that would stay with you long after leaving. The greeter, which is the woman above in my picture was also the owner along with her husband. But before we knew she was the owner and before hearing her story I could not help but think that this establishment is so lucky to have her. She had such a sweet spirit and was extremely patient with us as we hungered over the menu that was full of everything you could imagine from Barbeque Ribs to Tri-tip sandwiches, and not to mention their Teriyaki Pineapple Mushroom Swiss Burger! They also serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner; it was so much on the menu it felt like gluttony staring and reading over the variety of tasty, fun, and rare food choses.
After we finally ordered our food, by the way I chose the Ribs and all I can say is that I will be driving to Roseville all the way from Oakdale Ca to eat here again, but let me continue... I began to speak with our amazing greeter and learned that her restaurant was dedicated to the Lord. She began to tell me their story of how her husband had been in the restaurant industry for years and I'm not sure so don't quote me ( visit Ginger and she will tell you the story if I mess it up) but I believe where he worked closed down, but that he kept getting calls after asking when was he going to open his own restaurant and with Ginger's elderly mom now living with them in Roseville she wanted to remain stable. Ginger's husband, after feeling a little frustrated because he had not found a location for the restaurant one day went to Starbucks and seen the sign up that revealed that the property next to it was available. He was looking for the number and could not find it, but this was the awesome part, Ginger said that the sun began to come out and the brilliance of it's light (my words, but hey I'm telling the story as I can really visualize it. lol) highlighted the phone number for him to call and the rest is history. Ginger encouraged me as I told her my dream and said I could do it. Ginger's is a family owned restaurant that will not disappoint. They have live music, great food, contagious atmosphere that you would not want to leave, and of course they have Mrs. Ginger. The restaurant is not only their dream, but their testimony and their faith because Ginger would often encourage her husband in the time of frustration that it will happen and it did!
I don't know what your dream is, I don't know if you even believe it could ever happen for you, I don't know if you have felt or feel like giving up, but let Ginger and her husband encourage you that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE... listen they not only believed, but they went after it, they pressed on even through the frustration and maybe even through many disappointments. They also were prepared ! Listen to me don't wait until an opportunity come and then start trying to prepare, but start where you are, use what you have now, hone your gifts, learn what you need to learn so that when the opportunity come you will be prepared and ready !!!
One day you will be telling your story of ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE! I want to personally thank Mrs. Ginger for making my week, for encouraging me, for her kindness, and for those mouth watering ribs that were bursting with flavor. My friend had the Tri-Tip sandwich and I was able to try it as well and it was so delicious. If you are in the area or even if you are not, but you want to have a date with your spouse, friends, or the whole family then Ginger's is your place. Tell them Tiffany sent you.
